1 Apple, thinly sliced
1 tbs cinnamon
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 cup einkorn flour
1 cup milk
6 eggs
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp honey
dash of cinnamon
3 tbsp butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Slice apples and spread on a 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and pour milter coconut oil over apples. Stir to mix evenly. Bake for 20 mins, stirring halfway through. Keep an eye on apples to ensure they don't burn.
Step 2
While apples are baking, add milk, eggs, salt, vanilla, honey, cinnamon and flour to a blender and blend til well mixed.
Step 3
Once apples are done, remove baking dish and increase oven temp to 425. Place 3 tbsp of divided butter on hot baking dish to melt. Once melted, swirl to coat dish. Pour liquid batter evenly into pan. Bake for 20 mins at 425.
Step 4
Once finished baking, remove from oven and serve immediately topped with honey, maple syrup or powdered sugar.
